Your five least favorite books of all time
Well, this is a tricky one. I honestly do not know.. I mean, I’ve read books that I’ve put down again halfway because they just weren’t worth my time.. But specifics? No clue.. If it isn’t fluently written or if there are big holes in the plot, I don’t like it.. But who does?
Your 10 favorite books of all time:
1. Norwegian Woods - Haruki Murakami
This book got to me. After I read it I took a really long walk and by the Gods I needed it. I really got sucked into it and didn’t talk a lot for a few days after.. I loved it so very much that I’m afraid to reread it in case I don’t like it that much anymore after a second read..
2. The Dark Tower - Stephen King
Yes, it’s not one book but a series of seven. But I fell in love with these books when I was 13 and this love just never really ended..
3. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close - Jonathan Safran Foer
Do I need to explain this? It made me cry and it made me feel weak. A book that can do that is a good one. A great one even.
4. World War Z - Max Brooks
Zombies. Zombies, zombies, zombies! And good zombies, awesome zombies, great zombies, scary zombies.. Zombies so real and detailed that this book just fueled my love for zombies even more! I love Zombies. I loved this book!
5. Good Omens - Terry Pratchet & Neil Gaiman
I don’t need to explain this, do I? Everybody knows Good Omens, right? Everybody with a good sense of humor loves Good Omens, right? It’s one of the best books ever. Not kidding.
6. Making History - Stephen Fry
Thou shalt not question Stephen Fry! <3
(The reason I am putting this Stephen Fry book here is because I got this one as a birthday present, with a lovely little note written on the first page, which already makes it a special book to me. And the Germans makes this book just a bit more awesome..)
7. 1984 - George Orwell
It made me think. I was about 13 when I read it for the first time.. I don’t know what else to say..
8. Alice In Wonderland - Lewiss Carol
<3
9. Buiten regent het - Gerda Van Erkel
I read this book when I was 15 and I absolutely loved it. I’ve been trying to find a copy ever since, but haven’t gotten my hands on one so far..
10. Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy
Yes, I know. Yet again it’s not a book, but a series. But damn you all!
So. There..
